"Such reasoning might well be overoptimistic" is a concession, not a conclusion.
Remembe the structure "Concession, however, conclusion"? I talk about that a lot in my posts. If you recognize the afore-mentioned structure, you would know which part of this passage is the conclusion, and which part is concession. Hint: the part after HOWEVER, is the conclusion. |
