Yet studies of the most patent-conscious business of all—the semiconductor industry—suggest that firms do not necessarily become more innovative as they increase their patenting activity.看来,后面的squeeze patenting out of existing R&D和quality下降都是在表达innovation没有增加。 不能因为一个a study就排除A. - a study suggesting that the semiconductor industry’s approach to patenting during the period from 1982 to 1992 yielded unanticipated results
C. the connection between patenting and innovation in the semiconductor industry during the period from 1982 to 1992 5个选项都包含1982-1992,所以都是建立在主要说HZ的研究的基础上的。不能因为一个a study就排除A. - a study suggesting that the semiconductor industry’s approach to patenting during the period from 1982 to 1992 yielded unanticipated results
