 The problem is, the mere factor that Chinese women outperformed Chinese men in US does not indicate Chinese women can achieve the status they deserve in US.
 You did not mention other races. Do Chinese women come here to compete with Chinese?
 Give me some example of Chinese woman(not US born Chinese) occupy top management position in any company in US. (Chinese company in US, Asian pacific division of US company and companies in China town are not inclusive).  
  I agree that my comment went a little bit extreme. Yet, the comment also come from native speakers. I have been lived and worked in an environment that surrounded by native speakers for over 10 years. My ideology may sounds weird. However, as I observed and experienced, the status of Chinese women in US haven't showed cheerful sign. I may surrounded by racists because negative comments about Asian women are prevalent.
  I also may have different interpretation of the meaning of "decent job". If the term means any 24/7 occupation, I have no more comments.

Hi there, I'm with you that Chinese girls come to this country not for competing with Chinese boys. I might get it too narrow. Just wanted to cheer LZ up stating that we do have some advantages. BTW, F-1 students are in the same pool when competing jobs.

And you're right that I can't give you many examples of Chinese female holding executive positions. That's exactly my point. I disagree with the statement that women dominate this country. ) It's a white male dominate society.

By decent jobs i meant 6-figure as annual base, nice benefits package, reasonable work/life balance, reasonable job security, corporate jobs. Not as sexy as being bankers in the street.

I got to this country 3 years ago. Lots to learn from Chinese folks like you, who spent 10 years with native speakers. )  Thanks for sharing with us your understanding of racism.

嗯 在美国有种族歧视，在中国性别歧视更厉害，还有年龄歧视，看看中国有多少工作招聘的时候要求XXX岁以下，在大城市有对外地人的歧视，不会讲本地话不要，有小孩的不要，因为照顾孩子很多麻烦啊，没结婚的不要，因为谈恋爱和结婚生孩子影响工作啊。。。。歧视真是无处不在啊！

如果盯着“歧视”来决定在哪里生活，我们都没有地方活了，呵呵。

business analyst最看重的是分析能力、对行业的了解深入程度、表达沟通能力，和是不是中国人，是男女没什么关系。当然和公司是否支持H1B有直接关系。

分析能力的概念就很广泛了，可以指出的是分析工具的使用，对数据的敏感性，对市场的敏感性，等等。

还有一点，business analyst可能存在的范畴很广，非常多的不同类型的分析师都有，marketing, finance, operations, supply chain, strategy, 各方面都有。所以要说市场，应该还是不小的，要说好不找，更多看个人啦。

Especially HR who control hiring. I heard some women co-workers complain about women leaders tend to give women subordinates hard time. It is a psychological issue. a girl's thing.

Since the Geisha movie, I had some women co-workers come to me asking if Asian women like rich guys.

there also a lot of jokes about Asian women eyed in money.

ex. there is a white guy who is dating an Asian woman. they went to a restaurant. The Asian woman can not speak much English. and the only sentence she says is "show me your money".

Of cause I am not happy when I heard all these from people from other race. But, I just want to give a heads up.

找没钱人呢，是养小白脸，吃亏，犯贱。

找和自己差不多经济实力的呢，应征免费保姆倒贴钱。。。。。。哈哈。。。

总之都不是好事，呵呵。
