I would suggest that Chinese students dig deeper into popular local culture and familiarize themselves with names such and Lindsay Lohan and Michelle Rhee. The nuance of everyday American life, such as raviolis or wasabi, you WILL pick up. BUT the opening up of your mind set, a key to integrate into mainstream America , might not be so easy.
