A中说的第一个boldface是作为支持一个结论的证据 这个结论!!!不是the conclusion of the argument (Such reasoning might well be overoptimistic) 而是depositors relieved because CEO has bought shares of their own banks这个结论

Argument structure

Under a certain  " A certain scenario " , One effect happened due to a cause that ... so, a conclusion could be established. And then refute that conclusion by giving a counter example as to support its own objection.

First sentence: The event that the whole argument happened.

Second sentence: The support of its own objection as the new conclusion
