读p又读p。不想浪费青春就别读了，看看自己读完好多岁了，年级大了业界也会有限制。而且年纪大了在高校当老师也不容易。而且那么多年也没有人脉的积攒。不是光读书的问题，还有楼主你错了！我的一个姐姐统计博士然后在美国一家著名的银行做风险管理（名字我保留）。而且他只是本科学的金融还是国内211水的。你真该边学统计，边关注这边啊。

agree...actually industry now does not really look at the field of study when you at school. PhD's are more likely to go academy after grad. if LZ just wants a decent job in finance, you should not take Phd;also,building networks in industry is far more important than your degree and it takes time...

我在美国也寻找过finance industry方面的工作，但是实际上并不容易，我读一个finance的phd也是要多building一些人脉了，其实读不读下来都不重要，一边读一边在业内找工作。找到了，就转成master就走了。

try those schools like to recruit phd. like stanford and haas.

to be honest, with a phd in stat, u can find a decent job on the street, why bother to study finance phd. just go to contact some headhunter and i m sure, with ur background, they r eager to find a job for u.

if this is ur goal, i suggest not go for a phd in finance at all. coz there is basically no way to build network in phd program.

很多时候需要很强的C++，现在街上的工作竞争不是一般的激烈。
名校的物理、数学、计算机、工程博士 都在那儿盯着呢
