thanx for the reply! I didnt get a chance to read my references, although one of my lecturers said he wrote a lot of nice stuff... do they care about gmat at all? i got 780 for G, hope that would compensate for my ug grades

your GMAT will catch their attention for sure, dont worry.

they may expand the class this year, but i am not sure... God knows...we are the guinea pigs , according to my supervisor

楼主能说说 MSc Accounting &Finance这个项目的情况么？感觉上两个专业搭在一起。。。如果选concentration in finance的话，那不就成MSc Finance了么。。。虽说这个项目是在Accounting Department下的。。。

PS:如果现在申的话是不是被录取的可能性很小啊。。。

most of the applications will come in January and February, so, do it asap, but...do it properly

I am a student majoring in financial engineering, and i am considering applying for LSE for 2009 Fall, when i wrote a letter to the admission committee and talked a little about my background, they replied that they only reconked a few schools in China, however, my school is not on the list, i wondered if this would effect my application like decreased the possiblity of getting in? 现在英国经济不好，失业率持续上升，这都是事实。

不过作为英国经济老大的LSE，我希望它的placement还不至于那么悲观。。。

在网申系统中看到referee都是academic,但是美国很多学校都是要求一封学术一封职业,即使是实习的上司也可,请问是否两封推荐信都必须是学术呢?还有就是没有发现上传简历的地方,是否就代表不需要了呢?非常感谢~
