if I have average score of just 70,  am I qualified?

faint, i thought you were talking abou the grading system in Cambridge

to apply, you need to have at least first class or 3.7/4.0

But our school do not report  GPA in the transcript.

I only can calculate my average score in 100 point system. How do they evaluate my score?

or, if I rank in the top 20% in my department, am I qualified ?

just use any grading system that is the best for you

85/100 or 90/100 sounds better than 20%

LOOOOONG同学你搞混了。

CAMBRIDGE对中国来的学生不看GPA，只看平均分。所以你可以把FIRST CLASS,70%,GPA3.7/4.0通通忽略掉。

他们对你唯一的评判标准就是本科平均分90+(国内TOP15)。不管你是班里TOP20%还是TOP2,只要上了90分就可以，反之不行. 当然他们默认90分在TOP15大学里是班里前3%或5%

另外生源也很好。今年有4个中国人。1个哈佛本科，一个剑桥本科，一个英国某TOP10本科GPA4.0/4.0, 一个不详.
