ngo is full of imperialist craps you will work among stupid ignorant westerners who know NOTHING about china yet thought they are god-sent messagers to help this poor barbarian country my best friend is a llb from tsinghua and works in ngo beijing office you know what, once you are in ngo, money is probably not that much a problem, because you'll have to face huuuuuge ideological challenge. we are born chinese, and we have been "brainwashed" for more than twenty years, then when you work in an environment like ngo, which doesn't like most law firms and has such obvious political inclination, life is like in hell. at last, we are already well educated and mature, of course we wanna well-paid decent job, but i don't think ngo is even a choice because it'll require you to sell all you have, and that's too much to get paid for. |
