I know HBS has a recommended IBT score 109 below which HBS discourages you to apply. I suggest you check with admission office to make sure whether they still accept PBT.

Just make sure you already have clear clue about what you want to do and how your experiences and HBS MBA will help you achieve your goal. Make your essays specific, convincing and unique even better.

I just went through all the posts here and was impressed by everyone's information sharing and HBS_2010's efforts to relay HBS torch. I hope I can be the bearer next round :+)

yes， HBS does offer fellowship to international students and is much more generous than other schools. But how much you can get depends on your own financial situation and the upper limit set by school.

HBS values more heavily its alumni network --- look at the magnitude of donation and endowment from alumni and you should understand why..。

如果两个申请人其他资质全部不相上下， 但是其中一个的父母是哈佛校友， 毫无疑问学校会优先考虑校友的KID啦。如果其父母的背景很厉害， 对学校有significant的捐献， 那么即使他们的KID 稍微条件不如另一个申请人， 也是可能被优先考虑的（Come on. We are in a business world...where relationship matters.)

不过， 对于中国的申请者， 你根本还不必担心这一点 ---- 大概中国最早的一批HBS校友的孩子。。。都还没到申请的年龄吧。。哈哈
