FEEL THE SAME HERE!! I am a junior accounting major (although I like HRM more) in an American college now. (an AACSB-accredited business school) It seems to me that the demand for accounting majors is larger than the demand for HRM.
I am more inclined to get into a PHD program with full financial aids (so that I won't get my parents into debts) But judging from the threads about accounting PHDs on this forum, I think I have no chance of getting into a decent school with full financial aids. Those folks who get in are obviously overachieving and hard-working people. (FDU/Tsinghua/HKU) I, however, am just a normal student with an average GPA. (3.5/4/0) and average extra curriculum activities. =(
I think there are common things between accounting and HR,like dealing with numbers,accounts……you know, HR need to count compensations and insurances or something. Your accounting background may be benefit. |
