C中，In Madagascar 完全没有必要放在句首，放句尾更好。这个排除的理由我觉得很牵强。

我觉得C也还不错，地点状语至于句首貌似也行吧。

以后遇到该类题该怎么办？

Think about what you would like to see as a reader.  The goal of the sentence is to express the central idea clearly.  In this case, It's about the discovery of bones in Madagascar.  Putting the location up front sets the reader's expectation without following up immediately afterwards.  In reality, the reader would have forgotten the location, by the time they get to the end of the sentence.  In that sense, putting the location at the end is more reader friendly.

shirley8707 MM，最近接到好几个朋友考的不太理想，我复习的心情也不是太好，有点浮躁了！MM不要悲伤，擦干眼泪，好好总结下经验教训，继续努力，不要被GMAT打败，我觉得只要我们不放弃，还有希望啊，比起考研一年就一次机会，机会多了吧，我当时考研就考了两次，压力很大，现在又顶着压力考G，这是题外话；同时，我们比起那些5.12地震失去父母的孤儿呢，他们的希望在哪？他们或许自己都不知道！坚强一点！我也快考了，最后搏一把吧！也不想给自己太大压力，不行咱就再来，毕竟G不是我们生活的全部！先说到这了！希望MM坚强起来哈！

Do you have a sense for what you could have done differently?

The goal is to communicate effectively in English.  I would utilize your time in Austrlia to interact with people and improve your language instead of studying for the test.  It may not be obvious in terms of score improvements but you will see the benefit in the long term.  It's a great opportunity so use your time there well.  Don't forget to have fun, =)
