宝贝，OG的解释没错呀。A里，fetal heartbeats不可能自己USING的呀，所以就是错误修饰。

B里，没有指代对象呀，USING只能是医生发出的动作。

by the twelfth week of preganancy是时间状语，“到了孕期满12个周的时候”，它不修饰什么名词，就是个时间状语。
