1。I asked the interview: what is your current position in your company and why are you so successful in this position?

JamesHose, Thank you!
You are part of my success!

My wife is my leader! She told me where I shoud turn left to buy the ticket, where to get the forms to fill, where to enter the first class seat because there are some foreigners who will give me some sense of being abroad and where to buy the 3goto telephone card.

So, I acted as if I have been to Hong Kong for many times. I didn't have any difficulty of being an alien. This kept me in a very good mood. I was at the best status at that moment.

I had mock interview with Chuck with the my TV turning on in my 90 square meters living room. So, I was not scared to have interview in the open area where there were a lot of distractions.

hehe, first congratulation on you for your great interview! but i have to say something about Wharton interview according to my own experience.

last year, I also had an extremely successful interview with a Wharton alumna who even promised me to support me to get in with his fullest efforts. i believe i was much more excited at that time than you are now. actually I knew from the feedback session that he gave me very good evaluation and adcom even mentioned some wonderful details in the interview. however, I got an rejection at last.

as a re-applicant this year, i had my hub interview in shanghai last Friday. nothing special. i think it went well, but not so well as the one i had last year.

now, i do believe that interview plays an important but very limited role in the whole applicaiton package. although adcom has repeatedly clarified that all interview forms will be considered equally, actually interviews are highly biased by personal interests and experiences. therefore i can understand why adcom pays small attention to interview, regardless of how well you have performed and how well your interviewer has evaluated you in the report. the significance of interivew is limited as long as you did not perform very poor which can surely cause a ding.

anyway, i still congratulation you.
let's wait for the final decision date. good luck to all of us.

2。Actually, the interviewer told me that the Admission Committee has the final judgement. He said even the President of Upenn can't let me in if the Admission Committee says no. So, it is why I still tried to call the representatives of Wharton. I wanted to have some hint from them. I am still prepared to accept a rejection or waitinglist on Dec. 23rd.

Apart from Wharton, I still wait for the invitation of HBS.

I am open to any unintended results. Don't worry about me.
Even if that happens, I have nothing to lose. I have wonderful job, lovely family, 200 square meters house and a Nissan Cefiro. And secret amount of stocks!

Great! Should be in this mood! If we had already tried our best, we should not feel regretful.
