Columbia is notoriously unfriendly to Chinese applicants and maybe has the lowest accept rate for Chinese applicants. I applied it last year but got rejection, while I helped another friend to get in it. both of us feel extremely exhausted both mentally and physically through the whole application procedure for it. Columbia is a selfish and narrow-minded b-school and is not worthy of its reputation. the more i understand it, the more i dislike it. I swear never to apply Columbia again. Wharton also dinged me last year. however the more i understand it, the more i like it. I am so attracted to Wharton's generous, just, and innovative personality that it is my only target this year.
Admiring.... I also apply for Wharton this year, while has not yet submitted my application, i target for round 2. Can all of you share with us something with your background? I really want to know what kind of people will get the chance to be interviewed by Wharton.
My background: Undergraduate: Mathematics, ECNU Graduate: China School of Journalism 10 years of working experience: Clear governmental background. Good career track record. Plenty of teamwork and leadership experience. Maturity and integrity. Plenty of community involvement.
