It's interesting to see the change in the cover letter requirement this year. I would suggest the following:
1. Treat the cover letter as the career path/career goal/why mba/why now/why sloan essay. 2. When talking about career path, focus on the example the letter rerquires, i.e., the achievement that impact a group or org. 3. The essay breakdown might be 200 words for career goal/why mba/why now/ why sloan, and 300 words on the achievements/impacts.
