[求助]OG 第 31题。前面有人问过，但没人解释清楚。

for E now i finally got it...

however, as to "admit", here's the notes i have from a famous GMAT teacher :

1. He admits Being ignorant of it.

2. He admits to Being ignorant of it.

3. He admits to be ignorant of it. (X)

4. She admitted to the crime/shoplifting

老师说前两个都对， 就是3不对。。。

admit的用法：

1, admit (that)

2, admit to sb.(or sth.)

3, admit to doing sth.

你的句子：

1. He admits (that he) Being ignorant of it.  符合第1种

2. He admits to Being ignorant of it.   符合第3种

3. He admits to be ignorant of it. (X)

to后要跟doing形式

4. She admitted to the crime/shoplifting  符合第2种

不知道对不对哈。

看了这么多例句，我觉得只能两个原因E的while willing to错，

1、while前面缺少一个逗号

2、GMAT的解释错了

While not ideal, they were superior to those in other parts of the world.

这个例句是GMAT的阅读的一句话。和各位楼主的解释都矛盾，while表示了转折，而且省略了ther were.

其实已经很清楚了，OG说E选项INCOMPLETE，是因为willing前少了一个are.

一般情况，这个are可以省略，但是在这里主语是many people, 动词是个并列结构，也就是have和are的并列，如果把are省略了，并列的后半部就默认为have willing...，这明显不对，所以are不能省略。

严重同意！ 终于明白！
