The school websit said that interview is strongly encouraged prior to submitting application for kelley. Did you current Chinese students scheduled such interview when you applied last year? Or you were just invited after submitting?

I am going to apply for R2 (Jan. 15). Since there are so many materials to prepare for some schools, I am worried about the prior interview of Kelley. And now I am living in Chicago. It will cost 4 hours from here to Bloomington. It must be a 2 days interview trip. And there seems no OA who can offer me a off-campus one on the road.

Shall I schedule an on-campus admissions interview? Hope to hear your advices. Thanks a lot!

I don’t think you have to decide your major or concentration so early. A lot of people change their opinion after they come here. I am one of them.

I am not sure whether the corporate finance is one of Kelley’s strong points, but I know that it is easier for corporate finance people to find a job in U.S than for people in other majors.

Anyway, good luck with your interview. We have only one final exam left. So I bet next week more people will come here and answer you guys’ questions.

Sure, I think it is definitely helpful for you.

It is a good opportunity to participate in class and talk with faculties. More important, you will get a clue about whether Kelley’s program FITS you. And then, you can put your feelings in your application essays, such as “why do you choose Kelley MBA program?”

Kelley is a good MBA program with OK location which is critical for job hunting.that is why they treat kelly as a second tier program and my concern as well. However, I would like to know the placement of Chinese students if possible.

2007 Chinese MBAs all got internship this summer. I haven't got the final results for their full-time because there is still time for full-time searching.
