Usually, Kelley does not provide considerable fellowship to international students. You can say- that is a weakness of its MBA program. But you still can cover your tuition by GA and International student loan without cosigner.

There is no specific criterion for measuring whether you could be granted fellowship. But if you have a good GMAT score, strong background, and brilliant performance in your interview, you definitely have more opportunities than others.

Indiana is a state traditionally strong in medical/life science, so, IU, as the flagship university here, definately has great resouces on this area. I met at least two students (originally from China) and some local students from this area in classes, they are both from research side without business experiences. Therefore, if you got both life sciences and business background, I guess you have high probability of getting some money awards. Kelley values life science background applicants always and will continue doing so undoubtedly.

Make your applications materials good-looking and you will probably go beyond Kelley. Good Luck!

Kelley's core semester is really tough, but the professors are world-class.

Kelley's weaknesses are location and the most lucrative orientations for MBA: IB and MC, but its great career service and academies offset the disadvantages.

The two schools have very different styles. IU is strong in arts, while urdue is strong in science. As to B-school, Kelley is good at marketing and corporate finance (Kelley's accounting is very strong). Purdue is said to have a strong operation major, but I am not sure.
