I have some though on the road today.

1.The public ranking of the b-schools is like the traffic bulletin on the high way. People drive different route accordingly. So the new ranking of BW may make the traffic to INSEAD less than usual while make the traffic to Rotman more than it used to be.

2.Rotman hopped more than 6 spots in the ranking while the other Canadian schools didn't change much. That is a good news for Rotman and the bad news who are applying for Rotman.

3.Rotman is planning to add one more class of part time from 2007. It means more people in Toronto are interested in the school. And this could be applied to the applicants around the work in this globalized economy.

4.Rotman's average GMAT is lower last year. It could mean Rotman doesn't care its GMAT score as much as before. Chinese students' eye-catching high GMAT score might not be an advantage to Rotman. 

Sum up, it could be more difficult to apply for Rotman this year.

It is just my two cents. But I feel pretty bad that I didn't say that loud and clear at the first place.

以前由于工作原因属于骆驼型的,不得睡的时候,可以一两个星期持续每天睡很少.一旦得空,也很能睡.

自从有了孩子之后,生活已经蛮规律的了.

能睡的人,脑力恢复的及时,比较健康.

现在熬夜只是偶尔为之，而且第二天要喝espresso才能正常运转，过了生理极点，睡觉只是一个习惯而已，对健康非常非常不好，属于涸泽而渔。

年轻人，行动就是快，又问到我的冷门上了。好象其他的版面讨论的会多一些吧。

朋友送了一个小故事，不知道中国的父母是不是也会用这一招。

A Canadian Christmas...
A man in Newfoundland calls his son in Calgary two days before Christmas and says, "I hate to ruin your day, but I have to tell you that your mother and I are divorcing; forty-five years of misery is enough." "Pop, what are you talking about?" the son screams.
"We can't stand the sight of each other any longer," the father says. "We're sick of each other, and I'm sick of talking about this, so you call your sister in Vancouver and tell her." Frantic, the son calls his sister, who explodes on the phone.
"No way they're getting divorced!" she shouts, "I'll take care of this."
She calls Newfoundland immediately and screams at her father, "You are not getting divorced. Don't do a single thing until I get there. I'm calling my brother back, and we'll both be there by tomorrow. Until then, don't do a thing. DO YOU HEAR ME?" and hangs up. The old man hangs up his phone and turns to his wife. "Okay," he says, "they're coming for Christmas and paying their own way."

说的不对的地方, Queen's的同学多担待。

Queen's 的主业是EMBA,副业是MBA.

MBA每年招生人数少60+人。

BW按照MBA排名，人数少排名很容易做上去。

名次做上去了，很多公司就资助员工去读EMBA，所以Queen's 很赚钱的。比Ivey有经济头脑。

不过Queen‘s MBA的IT方向借本校的IT学科的名气和实力，也确实不错。

Today a friend asked me:

Are you still doing your Mush-Brain Afflicting(MBA) essays?

I was amused and smiled to myself.Why friends are not strangers is because they read your mind sometimes.

Another good article. The bad thing is that Rogers Martin talks too much about Aritotle to give his approach a foundation, an origin and a wide base of acceptance. Take the credit if it is yours. So what?

写essay太痛苦了，不过我倒是想再申几个美国学校。我的T，G成绩都寄给michigan state了,但还未动手申请。
