据说这个学校托福要求620以上？我只有610

1. I saw the first round deadline is nov.1(suggested),does it mean if late a few days, still counted in the first round? is it very strict about the date for McCombs?

2. I am still not very clear about the MPA  and MBA/accounting, i know mpa is professional accounting, can LZ elaborate the main difference and future placement? If interested in becoming CPA later, does either of this two majors fit? thanks in advance

请问这样的话，是我要把matching form贴在每一个文件上面吗？还是贴在最外面的信封就好了？是我要把matching form贴在每一个文件上面吗？还是贴在最外面的信封就好了？

I called the adcom office today. I was told that I just need to make enough copies of the Matching Form and send them with the package. It is not necessary to staple or stick the Matching Form to any document.

Finance专业就业最多。包括华尔街的投行，JP Morgan, Merry Lynch等会来招聘，但我印象中只有3－4个大投行来。去的人也就1-3人左右吧，竞争激烈。除此以外，还有很多别的finance方面的工作，大小公司都有，本地Houston和Dallas居多，其他城市看公司派你去哪里了。

--Anyone has information where this standard is from? For MPA, the minimum is 620, not sure for MBA.

---Apply when you are ready and be quick. Do not be sad about missing the first deadline also, but sure to catch the second deadline, that is the final deadline for internaitonal students.

60% of MPA graduates go to Big 4 accounting firms, and average salary is about 60K. It is a very specialized major, just for accounting.

For MBA students, it is about business. Placement is everywhere in a business world. Average salary is about 90K.

If you want to be a CPA, then take the MPA program. Very few people in MBA program want to be a CPA, because there are many other things to do.
