Actually it is main stream B-school, so whatever background, it is OK. However, I find Finance and accounting persons, and IT persons are a  lot here. Probably because Dell is here and Dallas is a finance center. I am not discouraging any other applicants, just say those two kinds are fit in the shcool.

The environment is team work.  Not so competitive.

还有有点顾虑，就是会不会听不懂德州人的口音？.....据说，一般在美国其他地区的人会比较看不起德州人，说他们懒散，不知道是谣言还是.....

看了去年CD录取的汇总帖子，LZ应该还拿到一个Duke的Offer。  Duke排名要高出Austin很多呀，而且是私立学校，LZ 能谈一下为什么选择了UT Austin 吗？Thx。
