答案是B，我认为B有歧意，主动宾比较中应该补出助动词来消除歧意。而且后面这个more of a kind of fat让我看着不舒服。

我选C，虽然他看上去不美，不过也比B强。Less和More都是形容词，比B中一个名词一个形容词对称多了。

由于and并列,所以保证了and后面的省略不会有歧义

这点同意。AND并列的两个是have的宾语，这样就不会有主语的歧意了。

前面的比较livestock后面有(fed on grain)修饰,不加助动词不会有歧义

且加了助动词不好因为:

那个do不知道是做强调的那个do还是补出的谓语

        do我会认为是因为不要和fed连才故意倒装，这样说的通嘛?

(D)   total fat of wild animals比上livestock(不合理且会有歧意)

(E)    total fat比上that of livestock(合理)

 

(A)(B)(E)中选(B)的原因是(A)(E)中的they没有明确指代

那个很经典的写比较句型省略的文章上举的例子是

Rice has protein of higher quality than whetat does.

可能这里是没有理由倒装吧.

就算倒装,理解的时候还是要还原的阿.

(个人想法,因为实在是找不到理由省略那个DO了)

补动词在意思上会更好，但是这个句子补上去后反而更怪，不补的话因为只有主词不同，句子也单纯，所以也不会影响到读者对句子的了解，因此不补也是ok的

偶的拙见（有点wordy）这个题是考"比较结构的省略问题"

比较结构有三个结构都是对的：

第一个结构：是正规的平等对称，所有主谓宾齐活儿，没有歧义，是最清楚的一种。

第二个结构：是倒装结构，即本题中的A

第三个结构：是省略结构，即动词或助动词的省略，即本题中的B

二，三比较复杂，也不容易看，具体哪个更好得看每个不同的题，以及比较结构的其它成份（比如定语从句或是就近修饰等都会影响句子结构）比如本题中用省略结构就比较好，如果补出倒装的话，反而不对称了。也许碰的其它的题，可能倒装更对称一些，具体情况具体再看吧。
