我的问题是：这个句子不算run-on吗？they can also没有连词连接可以吗？ 我在国外的语法论坛上搜索结果是not only but also这个结构是一个correlative conjunction，但是语法书没有介绍后续的内容，我想问”correlative conjunction“是不是和subordinator一样不需要用连词连接，直接用not only这个结构就已经算是完整的句子了？
求NN们指教

这其实并不是两句话，这其实是一句话，就好像这样的结构：Although it is rainy outside, Jack decides to go for a walk in the park. 前面是一个让步状语从句，逗号后面才是主句，也是为什么Jack前面为什么不加but的原因，如果加了but，but是连词，连接两个从句，整个句子就没有主句，句子结构不完整了。 所以你提到的这其实是一个句子而不是两个句子。

带but的选项连主语都没有啊亲，和NOT ONLY后面的结构都不一样。

还有..NOT ONLY, BUT; NOT JUST, BUT ALSO 都是对的。我觉得不能根据NOT ONLY, BUT ALSO这四个单词剔除选项。

个人感觉是因为如果此处用to do的话表目的  而thieves偷窃信息的目的并不是为了卖给竞争者 而是为了卖给竞争者赚钱 所以感觉此处用and 连接pilfer和sell句意更恰当

个人认为这里修饰的就是pilfer valuable information 如果是修饰contract bidding plans 为了保证平行结构 应该在 business development strategies/new product speci cations 每一个平行的部分后面都加上to do表目的
