sweetdream, that is probably how our dreams started and I think many people in CD experienced the same phase in our lives: we received good undergraduate education, started our careers, yearned for and planned our MBA route...
First and foremost, you should have a clear picture of what you want to be, what your career aspiration is, what your strength and weakness are, and even what kinda of life style you expect. Until you could depict the whole picture in your application, do not rush to make your decision.
Secondly, Chicago GSB, like many other top-tier business schools, need your story to judge your eligibility. You should relate your current working experiences to your career plan in the future, and the adcom people will find the match between you and the school. Of course, your plan must be logical and reasonable based on your experiences.
Thirdly, you will have to show your quality of working experience, good GPA and GMAT score, and everything makes you unique to distinguish yourself from many IT-background applicants.
Your question is huge to me and I hope you can benefit from my tips. I assure you that you will find more valuable information here in CD. Many CDers have contributed their experiences and knowledge to you. Good luck! |
