Transnational cooperation among corporations is experiencing a modest renaissance among United States firms, even though projects undertaken by two or more corporations under a collaborative agreement are less profitable than projects undertaken by a single corporation. The advantage of transnational cooperation is that such joint international projects may allow United States firms to win foreign contracts that they would not otherwise be able to win.
Which of the following is information provided by the passage above?
C transnational cooperation has in the past been both more common and less common than it is now among united States firms.
The OG’s explanation is that:
“to say that transnational cooperation is experiencing a modest renaissance means that it used to be relatively common, became less so ,and is now becoming more common again. Therefore choice C is the best answer”

99 温柔的复兴。整个一个题就考一个字的意思：renaissance，如果不认识的话，就死。认识的话，也不是很理直气壮。

105. 虽然治病的钱不多（对应原文yet），但导致相关费用显著（经济上还是不划算）。
即：不预防，经济上不划算。和原文结论相反，削弱。属于：直接说B不对型。

Yet any money so saved amounts to only one-fourth of the expenditures required to treat the hypertensive population.是不是这么理解的:然而所有这么节约下来的钱总计只有用在治疗高血压的钱的四分之一?题目中是怎么由前面两句推出最后一句"没有任何经济上的正当理由来对高血压进行预防"
这道题我主要是对题目本身不太理解请指教

2. 大意: 治疗高血压可以预防中风和心脏病,从而减少部分医疗费用; 但就此而省下的钱(指减少中风和心脏病)却只有治疗高血牙的1/4. 所以治疗高雪压是不经济的.

推理: 因为省下中风和心脏病的医疗费不及治疗高血压的1/4,即治疗高血压比直接治疗心脏病和中风还贵, 所以治疗高雪压是不经济的.
答案: 找个其它原因说明治疗高血压是有经济价值的.

We infer from the argument that transnational cooperation had been very common some time age,but lost its ground during a following period before its recent renaissance,as the choice c states.So c is the answer.

今天做到这道题，完全同意tocean0222说的。因为从前它曾经很盛行，所以more common;但后来又调落了，所以有一阵less common。这里both more common and less common并不是指同时发生在同一时间，而是说曾经有过...，也有过...，是不同时间的两种状态。
