[sorry no chinese keyboard]
My 2cent:
- Just dont do (1), regisn and gap is dangerous. GT is not really that difficult which need to be taken full-time. At least try it once first - if it turn out to be poor, take more annual leave to deal with it.
- Big 4 --> Master, especially MBA is a very common thinking. Simply accounting (auditing) is too harsh and boring with limited exposure, and people there would like to have some change, i.e. its a cons in admission: b-school like diversified background.
- Studying in a pre-experiene master is not really a big problem, except you will not have a really professional peer group and network. Except MBA, some post-experience master in finance can be your choice.
- Any professional master is costly, both in $$ and time, i.e. a huge investment in human capital, for which return can only be realized if you devote much enough energy and time in your career developement afterwards. and thus this is really a decision in balancing family and work, especially for women.
- Marriage is quite a personal issue. Hurrying but finding a unsuitable one is much worse than being alone. Just ignore dad and mom. But what's true is that one need some spare time in life, and not working all the way crazily like in Big 4.
Being too busy will not only hindering personal relationship but also the ablitily to think about oneself. |
