[size=13.63636302948px]0827 综合 revised by mushroom

[size=13.63636302948px]In the listening, the professor thinks that the measures mentioned in the passages are unlikely to succeed and may cause unwanted damages.

[size=13.63636302948px]First, contrary to what is mentioned in reading passage, erecting a fence could not prevent the spread of cane toads, because the young cane toads and their eggs are found in revers and streams. Through the waterways, they could flow from one side to another. Therefore, since a few young cane toads and eggs could establish a population on the other side, the fence will not be effective.

[size=13.63636302948px]Second, conflicting with what is said in reading passage, the volunteers will result in a decline in a certain frog. These untrained volunteers have difficulty in telling the cane toads from a native frog especially when they are young. Hence, even though volunteers could trap and destroy the cane toad population, the native frogs are in danger.

[size=13.63636302948px]Third, opposite to what is said in reading passage, a disease-causing virus will lead to terrible consequences. This virus will kill the American native cane toads since cane toads infected with this virus are possible to be transported to American for researches. Therefore, once the virus attacks and devastates the population of American native cane toad, it will be a disaster to ecosystem because American toad is an essential part of the ecosystem.

总结:
听力没问题
语法我扫了一遍没见着~
一个建议,第一段可以简单一两句介绍一下背景,讨论的是啥个事儿,突然这么一句反对有点儿惊。

Pets nowadays enter more and more families. Some people treat their pets as one of their family members and spend a large part of their salaries on their pets. Other people are against this behavior, holding the opinion that money should be put into good use for many other things, such as education, medical treatment, and financial investment. In my opinion, I stand for the former use of money.

There is only one criterion to judge significance that people should spend money on a certain thing: whether this certain thing is important? As for many people, pets to them are what children to parents. My parents, for instance, has lived on their own because I left home to my university. Our cat, Tom, to some extent, substitutes for me to accompany them. We always have a sweet moment when talking about Tom’s recent funny stories on the telephone. As Tom becomes an increasingly important bridge between my parents and me, my parents are more and more willing to spend money on Tom. Therefore, the important meaning of pets makes it unsurprising that people spend so much money on their pets.

Pets could bring the same function as with many other investments I mentioned at the beginning, because raising a pet benefits people in many good ways. For example, a family with dog has to do many works to breed it. The owners should take their dogs for a walk at least twice a day. In this way, it is a simple way for owners to keep practice everyday. Apart from adults, playing with dogs is good for their children. I read an article saying that keeping a dog could improve children’s memory. Hence, the advantages of keeping pets could compensate for the money we spent on them.

The money spent on pets is very small compared to the money earn by people today, because salaries is significantly increased. In the past, the large apart of money could only meet people’s basic demands, such as eating and living. Even if there were surplus, most people would try every means to make the use of this money to earn more money. In contrast, today keeping pets is not a luxury thing. The majority people will regard the money for keeping pets as a drop in ocean. Thus people could justifiable pay as much as money they want for pets.

Owing to the reason I mentioned above, modern people should not be confined to how many money they spent on their pets. The only thing they should care about is whether they are happy about spending that amount of money.

掐了下时间 略略有些超时 写成这样我满足了

You can know a lot about a person through the types of friends this person has.

In the most cases, when people are referring to the relationship between two people, they are most likely to use the word “friend” to describe their relationship. Some people argue that friendship is only a small part of people ‘s life and thus could not use as a way to know a certain person. However, other people are against this idea and believe that they could judge a person by taking a glance at his or her friends. I stand for the latter opinion.

First of all, friends could show us people’s interests. As is so often pointed out, birds of a feather flock together. People who share the common interests have high possibility in becoming friends. Take my own experience as an example. At the first time when I acquainted with my best friend, our conversation started from a famous Japanese cartoon we both liked. With this as a turning point, we gradually became familiar with each other and found that we have a lot in common other than cartoon. After so many years, I still hold the point that what bonds us most is our common interests. Therefore, we could safely say that at least there is one common point we could find between friends.

Second, we could make a simple hypothesis about the personality of people through that of their friends. As for normal people, they are more willing to spend their time with people who make them relax rather than put them in a nervous state. For instance, introverted people are less likely to have a group of friends who are outgoing due to their different lifestyles. Social contact plays a vital role in outgoing people’s life. However, the social relationship may be too complicated to deal with for introverted people. As a result, it is hard for them to maintain their relationship with outgoing people and vice versa. Hence, people tend to have friends who are similar in personality.

Finally, seldom could we see a person who has a noble character make friend with a notorious guy. Sometimes, a disappointment towards people’s character is strong enough to break a couple of friends apart. For example, the famous composer, Beethoven, and the great monarch, Napoleon, were friends and he even composed Symphony No.3 to dedicate to Napoleon. However, he tore the music score into pieces after hearing the news that Napoleon became the emperor of France. Thus, we could know people’s character from their friends because there is always a principle on which they constantly insist.

Owing to the reasons I mentioned above, I would arrive at the conclusion that we could learn a lot from people’s friends.

The reading passage describes a trend that people nowadays tend to read less literature and is concerned about this phenomenon. However, in the listening, the professor thinks that this worry is unnecessary.

First, contrary to what is said in reading passage, public will not miss out on the important benefits, such as expansion of understanding of the language, exercise of imagination, and sympathy for others. Actually, other books, other than literature book, could provide people intellectual stimulation. Therefore, even though the decline is sharp for literature books, there are still other good books for people to read.

Second, the reading passage displays a bias to the forms of entertainment today. In fact, people spend less time not only on literature books but also on all kinds of books. The culture has changed. Listening to a brilliant song and watching a good movie do not waste people’s time. Instead, these creative entertainments speak more directly to contemporary concerns more directly than literature does.

Third, opposite to what is said in reading passage, we should not blame people for not reading literature books. Conversely, it is the authors who should take responsibility for the decline of literature. They write the books in a way that people hardly understand. Hence, there is not much reason to support that earlier generation would read today’s literature.

The reading passage describes a trend that people nowadays tend to read less literature and is (复数)concerned about this phenomenon. However, in the listening, the professor thinks that this worry is unnecessary.

First, contrary to what is said in reading passage, (典型的结构不平行错误。Contrary to 的对象不平行 如果要contrary to what is said in  reading应该是what is said in listening)public will not miss out on the important benefits, such as expansion of understanding of the language, exercise of imagination, and sympathy for others. Actually, other books, other than(语意重复) literature book, could provide people intellectual stimulation. Therefore, even though the decline is sharp for literature books, there are still other good books for people to read.

Second, the reading passage displays a bias to the forms of entertainment today. In fact, people spend less time not only on literature books but also on all kinds of books. The culture has changed. Listening to a brilliant song and (用or 更好,两者并不是同时发生)watching a good movie do not (相应用单数)waste people’s time. Instead, these creative entertainments speak more directly to contemporary concerns more directly than literature does.

Third, opposite to what is said in reading passage,(与第二段同) we should not blame people for not reading literature books. Conversely, it is the authors who should take responsibility for the decline of literature.(强调句加高级短语,赞) They write the books in a way that people hardly understand. Hence, there is not much reason to support that earlier generation would read today’s literature.

虽然总体字数达到了官方要求,但对于高分作文字数偏少

例子实在太高大上了。。成语和习语也是各种狂拽酷炫。。
可以改进的是,开头的句式可以多点变换~(滚开,你自己不还是万年就那两句话!。。。)
然后背一些地道的英语用法,比如,a small part of 就可以用a fraction of... 刚开始“背”新四,让我显摆一下。。【捂脸跑】
一起加油~~
