The lecture points out the explanation that clay jars were acient elctric bateeries is unreasonable. However, the professor totally disagrees with this idea by following reasons:

To start with, professor points out no conductors such as metal wires had been found may because the local people ,not the archaeologists, found the vessel ,so there is a possibility that the local people are not able to regonize the important of those conductors and they might overlook those things and throw them away.

what's more, the reading material says that the copper cyliders were used for holding scrolls. However, professor point out even though the original function of copper cylider is indeed to hold scroll, as time goes by , the vessel may adapt to another purpose such as batteries.

Additionally, the writer thinks the clay jars as betteries would have been totally no use to acient people because there is no devices that depend on electricity. On contrast, speaker says when vessel filled with liquids, it could produce some electric shock which could be used for healing some ailment such as vibrating the muscle.

6.9 TPO26 综合！

In the reading passage, the writer contends that there is no way to stop the spreading of mussels. Contrast, the professor in the listening material points out people already obtained the knowledge to control mussels by following methods:

Firstly, the reading passage states that zebra mussels could be spread out along new canals by human transportation through attaching themselves to ships' bottom. However, the professor argues that the ship could be filled with salt ocean water to kill mussels instead of  "ballast water " in which mussels can survive.

secondly, the writer explores that zebra mussels will dominate once they are carried to a new habitat . On contrary,the professor points out that ,indeed, there is no predators and that mussel have a high rate of reproduction, but it just in the beginning. After a short period, when local species has decreased, the local predators are likely to eat mussels because there is no foods to eat.

Finally, even though mussels seem to cause a decline in fish populations which are plankton eaters. However, the speaker explores that the other fish could have positive effects. The reason is the mussels will generate the fishes who eat mussels in the bottom .

Which has a larger influence on the society: automobiles or airplanes?

Along with advanced civilization, lots of influencial innovations ,such as automobiles and airplanesare, invented to change our life quality . If only choose one event to symbolize our contemporary life development, I would like to champion the airplanes whose advent break through the dilemma of far distance.

To start with, it goes without saying that airplanes are efficiency. As we know, even though automobiles has already saving lots of time but it is not without its flaws and people are still botherd by the problem of long distances. The fact is even no time limits, if one took automobiles to a far place, he also has to face other problems such as fuels, weather conditions and passion consumptions in this long trips. Besides, compare to the airplanes which in one time are able to contend 50 people in average, the automobiles are just no more than 5 persons. Nowadays, time is money, therefore, for modern people airplanes are far more efficiency and influence than automobiles.

What's more, it is no deny that airplanes offer a better quality and enjoyble experence for climents. For instance such as travel, not only tourist agency but also individual all prefer to take planes as their first optimal choice of transportation although the price of airplane tickets are more expense than automobiles. The reason is obviously that the airplane bring more fun and comfort for people's travel. Contrast, if people took automobiles went to travel , when they arrive at destination, it is no any energy to take pictures or visit views because they all tired in the trip.

Finally, I have to say, the most useful advantage and far-reaching influence of airplanes is they are fast, which is absolutely the most fatal weakness of a automobile. They help directly to medicine career such as organ transplantation. As we konw, the organ which is capable to departing from human's body in a short time if it is keeped in the certain condition could be reused. Therefore if the organ could be transmit in time to someone in other place, this act could save one another's life. The question is how to transport the organ to other place in the short time. The airplanes solve this problem. They contribute a lot to the human's  fitness.

In addition, the airplanes take so much merits not only for oneself, but also for the all world . Clearly, it goes without saying that the airplane contribute directly and dramactly to human beings.
