The online chat will address all the things you need to focus on after submitting your application packet, which include

- Additional materials
- Alumni networking
- On/off-campus interviews
- Waitlist management
- Multiple offers management
- Financial aids: scholarship / loan
- Preparation for academia, relocation and student life

Prefer but not limit to Stern applications.

and will not neglect what you are expecting in school life

- Academic experience at Stern

- Job hunting in finance, marketing and consulting

Any pre-submission housekeeping topics are also welcome (essay revising, recommendation letters tips, etc.)

2. Host

Joshuatree, a Stern first year MBA who is currently participating in the school’s Class 2007 admission process as a member of Stern Torch Committee, will host the online chat.  Holding an engineering degree from Tsinghua, Joshuatree used to work for private equity / venture capital funds both in the Silicon Valley and in Shanghai and is considering heading back to private equity after graduation.

3. Agenda

10:00 – 11:30pm, January 22, Saturday (Beijing Time)

- Brief intro on NYU Stern and host speaker (5 min)
- Structured intro on admission process and answers to frequently asked questions (15-20 min)
- Live Q&A (50-60 min)
- Quick wrap-up (5-10 min)
