为什么要赶早申请？

申请过一遍后才明白，还有个waitinglist。而很多学校的policy竟然是：第一轮的waitinglist和第二轮一起考虑，以此类推。可见：同样是waitinglist，第一轮的比第三轮的机会大了三倍不止，因为你可以对admission officer轮番轰炸直到他们accept了你。而最后一轮的waitinglist就只能守株待兔了。

所以，尽管每轮的机会均等（官方说法），但由于次数增多，机会增加。

dont worry, more offers are on the way now... keep your phone power-on all day and all night... and even you dont receive a call, it's still quite possible you can get other message of congratulations.

About scholorship, last year there were three scenarios, as far as I know.

1. "Congratulations, you will be awarded $$$ due to your outstanding ..."

2. "We will finalize our scholorship decision at end of Apr and will let you know"

3. "We are sorry there is no money to you as the money is very limited"

The school told us in the formal admission letter. Not sure if this is still the case this year.
