from: advancededu.net

把托福划成四个部分:听力,语法,阅读和TWE,单词归于阅读部分,把托福复习时间分为10份,听力,语法,阅读和TWE的各自复习时间为--4:2.5:2:1.5,也就是说听力占4份,语法占2份半,阅读占2份,TWE占1份半。因计划因人而异,如TWE要拿4分,一个礼拜一般就可以了,甚至两天,但是TWE要拿到高分,还是要付出的。所以,我做的托福复习计划的针对目标是托福620分以上,TWE 5分以上;

周一至周五: 4-5个小时(平时的时间安排:听力必须保证1-2个小时, 第一阶段一套题精做下来,差不多1到1个半小时,语法做完一套加上对答案,弄明白错题花40分钟,阅读一套做下来,1个小时左右;听力是每天必须保证的1-2个小时,语法和阅读则可以集中做,如一天除了听力,那么接下来的时间都做语法,或者都做阅读,这样比较有系统性,单词量没到的,前期先背单词,第一阶段末期,第二阶段再做阅读真题);

一天必须保证1-2个小时,周末或者平时有空,应该翻倍,利用充裕的时间来精听,新题足以,先精做一遍新题,后期再做一遍,以及横听老题,用老题做练习;

1. 一套一套听,精做,力求每个单词都听出来,每个问题都基本弄明白;
2. 做一套题需要半个小时,那么就下来需要每个单词都听出来,对答案,自己再听一遍,对错题多听几遍,最后对照听力原文再听,然后脱离原文再听一遍;
3. 精听,放在时间充裕的周末或平时,不要挤占其他部分的时间;
4. 第一阶段一定保证一天一套题;周末,一套题+一套听力精听=4个小时;
5. 休息的间隔,可以听听VOA—以后飞跃论坛会在听力部分一天提供至少一段的当天新闻;

1. 听力速度可以加快,因为前期已经很细的听过了,可以一天两套,如果觉得太熟悉,那么就用老题做练习,拿新题中的经典再听一遍,重点在错题上,要及时总结,掌握;

1. 不用太在意每套题正确率,但对每套题做错的题,一定要分清楚为什么错,是精神不集中,说的太快没听清,没有揣摩情景,走神了,还是短语没听懂,并且写在题目边上,分别用不同的符号,如三角形代表短语没听懂,圆形代表说的太快没听清等,到一定时间后,根据自己弱点,对症下药,多练这方面的题,把握相关的技巧,提高相关的水平;
2. 平常练习,题目间隔不要间隙太短,一是影响正确率,二是考试时,容易走神,或者,至少第二阶段后期应该全部听正常语速的,适应正常的12秒间隔;

1. 做新题足以,做完一遍就可(这根据个人具体情况应有所调整,如考过GRE的人,则可做几套题把握托福思路,总结题型,找找感觉即可;阅读比较好的,也不用全部做完);
2. 前期,一天一套, 一套做下来需要50分钟左右,然后对答案,想想需要10-20分钟,那么一套阅读做下来需要1个小时左右;
3. 阅读词汇题需要牢固的单词基础,尤其是那些熟词新意,需要与背单词结合;另外,阅读中有生词是很正常的,只要控制在2-3%,就是可以接受的,通过上下文猜词也是ETS的一个考点;

1. 有变难趋势,有些题不确定定位在哪里,或不是一眼就看得出定位;
2. 细节题越来越隐蔽,有的题刁钻,不按顺序出;

1. 需要全部过一遍,对ETS的考点,题型和思路要熟悉,主要是对自己错的地方有针对性的总结,学习,提高;
2. 一套题目40道题,一般需要25分钟,建议一天2套语法,那么耗时1个半小时左右;
3. 语法比较薄弱的,做新题错7-10个的,参照托福高分语法系统和有针对性的学习,推荐:对错题进行总结,对相应语法点进行系统的学习;
4. 一般的,即错3-4个的, 平时总结常犯错误,记录下来,总结,隔段时间对相应的语法点针对性的复习一下;

1. 参考相关总结和新东方的一些方法,技巧;

1. 前期关注,准备,最后集中复习,冲刺,期间间隔性的练习,找人修改,提意见;
2. 作文练习,利用时间充裕的周末或平时, 平时可占用阅读的时间,即间隔性的不做阅读,而练习写一篇作文,一个小时完成,然后给英语好的人修改,提意见,自己再总结,提高,积累;
3. 模考时,连着作文一起整套的做下来;
4. 不要使用已有模板,参考别人的,自己总结,然后套用熟悉,尽量做些大的改动! 准备三套模板,针对三种类型:每套5个句子:开头+中间三段Topic Sentence+结尾,解决文章结构;
7. 平时练习时,尽量严格控制时间,比如:一开始用5分钟,打草稿,中间各段用5分钟左右,第20分钟开始写最后一段,最后5分钟检查,控制严格,不超时;

a) 独立主格+主句;
b) 分词状语前置+主句;
c) As far as X is concerned, …;
d) 多用连词, 如despite the fact that, although, however,拉长句子

2. 有针对性准备练习TWE是有必要的,因为TWE和GRE的作文是完全不同的,当然准备过GRE作文后,写TWE要容易的多;

By Patrick Tao, Shenzhen

听写句子的长短不宜过长, 标准长度为目前考试中第一.二部分的对话文章的长度.开始训练的时候可以稍稍缩短. 对于第三部分的段子文章,大家可以将文章分成几部分听写出来;

精听每一个句子的单词, 开始的时候可以先只是听,待听完后拿出专门的时间来写下大脑中记住的内容. 很多人在初期训练的时候感觉太难实施,一个主要的原因就是开始训练的时候就边听边写, 听和写相互影响, 对自己的提出了过高的要求,以至于难以实施; 请大家一定要注意不是要求听的过程全部将内容写完, 一定要留出专门的时间停止播放磁带来专门写出内容;

一般将听写过程分为三遍, 少数高手可以分两遍写完, 最好使用两种或者多种颜色的笔,分别书写第一第二第三遍,用以区别每次的听写内容;

听完第一遍, 可以按照自己脑子中的印象进行加工处理,把自己脑中的信息都写出来, 即使自己此时使用的单词和原文有出入也尽量写出来, 这样在第二第三遍的时候可以加以修改;

整个听写的过程中,第一遍是最重要的, 第二三遍是补充和修改;

听写过程中不必追求书写, 但求速度, 最好能准备多张纸张, 每一张写2-3道第一二部分的对话题目为宜;

随着听力和听写水平的提高,逐步养成边听边记边写的习惯,这才是我们追求的效果.建议考核标准为: 100%* (听的过程写出的内容)/ ( 听写的总内容);

本贴转自taisha(bobbywolf原创),谢谢bobbywolf

Ichthyosaurs had a higher chance of being preserved than did terrestrial creatures because, as marine animals, they tended to live in environments less subject to erosion.

The quality of preservation is outstanding, but what is even more impressive is the number of ichthyosaur fossils containing preserved embryos.

The rocks of the crust are of very different ages. Some continental rocks are over 3,000 million years old, while those of the ocean floor are less than 200 million yeas old.

Given that two-thirds of the Earth’s surface is water and that marine lives at all levels of the ocean, the total three-dimensional living space of the ocean is perhaps 100 times greater than that of land and contains more than 90 percent of all life on Earth even though the ocean has fewer distinct species.

Science involves imagination and creative thinking as well as collecting information and performing experiments.

Science is built with facts just as a house I built with bricks, but a collection of facts cannot be called science any other than a pile of bricks can be called a house.

In the early nineteenth century, the knowledge of the physics of heat, which was essential to a science of refrigeration was rudimentary.

Rapid industrialization and increased geographic mobility in the nineteenth century had special implications for women because these changes tended to magnify social distinctions.

Anthropology is a science in that anthropologists use a rigorous set of methods and techniques to document observations that can be checked by others.

With the growing prosperity brought on by the second world war and the economic boom that followed it , young people married and established households earlier and began to raise larger families than did their predecessors during the Depression.

These researchers have sought to demonstrate that their work can be a valuable tool not only of science but also of history, providing fresh insights into the daily lives of ordinary people whose existences might not otherwise be so well documented.

It is commonly believed that in the United States that school is where people to get an education. Nevertheless, it has been said that today children interrupt their education to to  school. The distinction between schooling and education implied by this remark line is important.

The states encouraged internal improvements in two distinct ways: first, by actually establishing state companies to build such improvements; second, by providing part of the capital for mix public-private companies setting out to make a profit.

Desert animals can drink prodigious volumes in a short time and camel have been kown to imbibe over 100 liters in a few minutes. The actual concentration need not be large for a substance to be a pollutant in fact the numerical value tell us little until we know how much of an increase this presents over the concentration that would occur naturally in the area. Sulfur dioxide, for example, has detectable health effects at 0.08 parts per millia (ppm),which is about 400 times its natural level .Carbon monoxide, however, has a natural level of 0.1 ppm and is not naturally a  pollutant until its level reaches about 15 ppm.

The acute, growing public awareness of the social changes that had been taking place for some time was tied to tremendous growth in popular journalism in the late nineteenth century, including growth in quantity and circulation of both magazines and newspapers. These developments, in addition to the continued growth of cities, were significant factors in the transformation of society from one characterized by relatively, isolated self-contained communities into an urban, industrial nation.

Another unusual feature of glass id the manner in which its viscosity changes as it turns from a cold substance into a hot, ductile liquid. Unlike metals that flow or “freeze” at specific temperatures, glass progressively softens as the temperature malleability until it flows like a thick syrup.

Which view is correct? Well, historians who wrote during the calm and prosperous 1950s found reasons to the idealist view. Those who wrote during the trouble of 1960s found supports for economic view point. I would say that neither view is complete, both the idealist and the economic perspective contribute a part to the whole picture.

PART A:1--30T,对话。

1、PART A:
