14fall的MFE求各位帮忙定位啦

楼主的情况差不多这样
本科:211金融工程@国内重点财经类高校；  平均分89；rank: 10/95（和大牛同申，生不如死啊）     T: 109=R28+L29+W24+S28
G: 328=159（V）+169（Q）
SUB: 在犹豫，已经报了
论文/科研经历: ----
相关工作经验: <3个月短暂实习/全职
学科竞赛/奖励: 学校奖学金，美赛H水过
背景的其他说明（如牛推等）: 无牛推
实习的话，现在还没开始，就是已经确定去两个——一个是风险管理，还有一个还没确定部门（中行省分行求推荐）
不知道各位一般都会申多少学校。。~
dream school的话————>1）MIT,2)NYU, 3）cmu,4)Columbia（MFE>MAFN）,
可能会主攻 5）CHICAGO，6）Cornell , 7)U Mich
如果。。。。放完就没有然后了
我还在想申这几个LSE,LSC, NYU-POLY，Baruch，JHU,和新加坡的两只。。。
求各位大大帮忙定位同时看看还有哪里可以提高（比如我想不好要不要考SUB）

我也是MFE，但是据我了解，好像SUB没什么用，求有经验的人来说下啊

Hi, my friend. First let me say, your background is very impressive! You have solid academic scores and potentially valuable internship experience. If you can craft excellent essays and supporting materials in your application, you will have a good chance of getting into some of the top-tier MFE schools. Your school list is fine (technically speaking, MIT’s program is an MSF, not MFE). I’d suggest you focus first on getting more experience from your internships. Then, you should definitelywork towards gettingpositive recommendations from your employers. This will be very helpful for your application, especially to business school programs like CMU or Berkeley. Most of all, you must focus on crafting compelling essays that give a clear picture of your future goals, both during your graduate studies and beyond. If you can create great essays, you will definitely be in the top of the candidate pool. The essays and letters of recommendation, both of which give the admissions committee insight into your character, are very important in the application. Hope this helps!

Thank you for your advices and I hope I could further consult couple of questions.
Firstly, it is quite challenging to get internship opportunity in key departments of financial institutions. So I wonder which departments are comparatively more related to financial engineering, and specifically in what aspects of my intern jobs should I pay more attention to?
Secondly, I should say I am quite a lazy guy. And when you mention essays, I think you mean I should pay more attention to creating some essays in my field of study. So my question is if it is too late for me to start creating essays on study of financial engineering?
Really grateful for your suggestion.

谢谢哈，数学的话主要是高数高代，概率论数理统计，随机过程，常微分什么的。。。
计算机的话学了数据库，C，matlaB，应该还会开一个JAVA或者C++
