我的email: qiaowang2000(A) hotmail.com.

Chicago can waive TOEFL to applicants who have received a 2-year MS where English was used in teaching.

first, I think you should seriously consider NOT APPLYING at all. you are at the stage that only top 20 MBA will yield any better result than what you have got. But even a top20 MBA will have hard time to give back the investment you put in as tuition, salary loss, time with family, stress and life, period.

if you are so believed in this "MBA hype", you do have a wonderful story to tell. The struggle when you are pursuing your MS degree, the life story rising from country side, explosure to varieties of career.

The shortcoming of your experience: you jump around too often, 4 months in consulting and leave? that is a red flag there, and 10 months after that one? it seems you have no commitment for your job. I know you have good reasons, but it will be difficult for anyone who work in US business environment to understand

by the way, your high school or talent show experience is good to mention but don't spend too much words on them.

Other than encouraging you "not applying", I agree most what Funnytiger said. I would like to add more on that if you really want an MBA degree, you do need to think it through, over and over. I think many of us just chase a dream. Probably it's hard to evalute solely on the economic basis. You want to do what you believe you want to do. If you made your mind, all you need right now is to do it and get a good GMAT score and then good essays.
