注意作者的评论：The critics are correct on this point。评论家在这点上是对的。后面的话表示评论家没有考虑将来，如果考虑了将来，评论家的话就是错的。所以作者不是要undermine评论家的话，而是要说明它根本就是FALSE的，只考虑一点，是没考虑到未来。所以D对。A错。而且D说得和原文结构非常吻合：第一个黑体就是作者要反对的，第二就是一个用于表示批评家是错的主要观点。

而且A的prediction, if accurate 也不好，原文用的都是be abound to(=be certain to)，这哪像是在预测，这是在说理。也不存在if accurate 的问题。作者就说一定会，不存在if accurate。
