When students have assignments to finish in a month, is it a better way to start working right away, or wait until come up with some fancy ideas? I favor that, since making an impressive presentation is always important to students, to prepare as soon as possible. The reasons to support my opinion are as follows. Firstly, doing job ahead of time is always the thumb of rule. Secondly, True success comes from the gradual accumulation of efforts, including gathering experience and searching for information. I will expand every single reason in details in the following paragraphs.

To begin with, doing job ahead of time is always a top priority, because experience has taught me a lesson. Taking my accounting class as an example, the professor assigned a company-analysis project to hand in a week later. I decided to start the assignment as soon as possible. I gathered data in the library and searched company information online, at the same time I built the project’s framework and chose a famous company as my object. A few days later, I finished my project and I even had some days leftover to catch and fix the typos. While my classmate Jerry, who wouldn’t take a move until he picked up a target company first. As a result he had a very stressful weekend to catch the deadline. As the case stands, choose the right time to do the right thing can achieve unexpected result.

Although a good idea may gain extra point, an important presentation is made up of a series of procedures which require a great deal of effort and attention to finish. In order to deliver a good outcome, students require lots of time to write a well-organized presentation. When students receive a work and start it right away, they will have abundant time to gather information, solve problems and improve their presentation skills. Moreover, if we waste time to catch up a good idea only during the procedures, we may not have enough time left to formulate a complete structure, to do the correct expression, not to mention to go over the work.

In conclusion, I want to stress that doing assignment right away is better to wait. Not only because plenty of time can ensure producing a brilliant result, but also because a good habit, doing job ahead of time, can improve person’s characteristics.

When students have assignments to finishin a month, is it a better way to start working right away, or wait until comeup with some fancy ideas? I favor that, since making an impressivepresentation is always important to students, (我觉得这句话不能作为你选择任何一个观点的理由!to prepare assoon as possible. The reasons to support my opinion are as follows. Firstly, doing job ahead of time is always the thumb of rule. Secondly, True successcomes from the gradual accumulation of efforts, including gathering experienceand searching for information.(感觉这里有点多余) I willexpand 好! every single reason in details in the followingparagraphs.

To begin with, doing job ahead oftime is always a top priorityahead oftime表示提前,根据题干里面的信息,你只能立即开始工作,或者是想出一个好点子之后在工作,怎么可能提前呢!?), because experience has taught me a lesson.Taking my accounting class as an example, the professor assigned a company-analysisproject to hand in a week later. I decided to start the assignment as soon aspossible. I gathered data in the library and searched company informationonline, at the same time I built the project’s framework and chose a famouscompany as my object. A few days later, I finished my project and I even hadsome days leftover to catch and fix the typos.  While my classmate Jerry, who wouldn’t take amove until he picked up a target company first. As a result he had a verystressful weekend to catch the deadline. As the case stands, choose theright time to do the right thing (这句话放在这里还是不恰当,例子讲的是立即开始工作,你这里是对的时间做对的事,两者无关!)can achieve unexpected result.

举的例子很不错!

Although a good idea may gain extra point(+s), animportant presentation is made up of a series of procedures which require agreat deal of effort and attention to finish. In order to deliver (建议改成acquire,和后面的outcome搭配) a good outcome, students require lots of timeto write a well-organized presentation. When students receive a work and startit right away, they will have abundant time to gather information, solveproblems and improve their presentation skills. Moreover, if we waste time to catchup (建议改成come upwith 和后面的idea搭配) a good idea only during the procedures, we maynot have enough time left to formulate a complete structure, to do the correctexpression, (建议+even) not to mention to go over (go over貌似没有完成的意思) the work.

建议给出一个例子和细节
In conclusion, I want to stress thatdoing assignment right away is better to (改成than) wait(+ing). Notonly because plenty of time can ensure producing a brilliant result, but alsobecause a good habit, doing job ahead of time (还是之前的那个问题), can improve person’scharacteristics.

1. 逻辑上有些小问题、
2. 第二个观点可以辅以例子加以深刻阐述
3. 一些小错误需要注意

LZ下次要注意哈~

The lecture states a totally different story from what the passagesays. Although the portrait recently put up for sale in some way resemble toJane Austen, the lecture positively believes that all the three pieces ofevidence given in the passage are not quite convincing. Reasons will be listedand explained in the following paragraphs.
first of all, the lecture provides that since the portrait firstappeared 70 years after Jane Austen's death, none descendant of her familymembers have actually seen Jane Austen themselves. Therefore, the endorsementof her offspring doesn't prove that it is a portrait of Jane Austen.
Second, the lecture disputes by targeting the resemblance betweenthe two portraits. Jane Austen had a very large family and many of her femalerelatives in teenage looked like her, which would well explain the resemblance.
Finally, the lecture brings up to question the similar paintingstyle as a evidence provided in the passage. A stamp on the back of the pictureindicated that the piece of work was made at a time when Austen was clearlyolder than the girl in the portrait, which would point out that the teenagegirl of the portrait wouldn't be Jane Austen herself.

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?
People who cannot accept the criticism from others will not be successful at working in a group.

In mention to criticism, some people take itas insult or offensive, the first shot in mind involving a negative image. Onthe contrary, others allow the criticism to affect their life and their work inthe positive ways, making a splendid future. I favor that, in a cooperativeteam people who accept constructive criticism will be very successful. Thereasons to support my opinion are as follows. Firstly, taking criticism makespeople perfect their personalities. Secondly, in a work team, taking suggestiveadvice from others will give people a better chance to improve their work andenhance to develop a bright future. I will expand every single reason indetails in the following paragraphs.
To begin with, taking criticism makes people perfecttheir personalities, which in turn, will advance their work. Accept thecriticism not get people the precious chance to face their mistakes, but helppeople to correct the errors. During the procedures, they will develop thepersonality of honest, courage, and cooperative. Taking myself as an example, Iwas assigned a project for my accounting class. Jerry, one of the study groupmembers, reviewed my analysis report and pointed out my numerical mistake /data error. I was unwilling to admit my mistake until he went over the data withme once more. I noticed that I put some number in wrong order. This unfavorableoutcome could drag the whole team down, while the new report got us anexcellent grade. I am glad that I conquered myself, accept my mistake honestly, and finally, I’d like to collaborate with my group member.
Secondly, in a work team, taking suggestive advice fromothers will give people a better chance to improve their work and enhance todevelop a bright future. My friend René, an engineer working in a small startupcompany, she always takes constructive advice from her supervisors and hercolleagues, intending to avoid mistakes and learn their valuable workingexperiences. By taking advantage from the criticism, Rene’s career took off inthe first years and she will expect a promising position in the future.
Inconclusion, I want to stress that taking criticism from others are beneficialto people, not only because that can help people improve themselves in allsorts of ways, but also because that can lead people a grand success in theirwork.

The lecture states a totally different story from what the passagesays. Although the passage asserts that salvage logging can help to protectforests from natural reasons and economic reasons, the lecture argues that forthe long term consideration, the action of salvage logging may be questionable.
First of all, it seemslikely that removing dead trees immediately can make room for new trees growth. While the lecture points out that cleaning up a forest actually has a sideeffect to create the right conditions for tree growth. Since the naturalprocess of wood decay enriches the soil and makes it more suitable for futuregenerations of trees. In other words, salvage logging may result in lessnourishment in soil to support long term forest growth.
Second, the lecture contradicts the passage’s second part by targeting the pest issue. Althoughthe passage says that spruce bark beetles are harmful to the forests, thelecture shows evidence that for the last 100 years, spruce bark beetles didn’tcause major damage. From another view of point, dead trees provide habitats aswell for birds and other diverse insects, which are vital contributors to thelong-term expansion of forests.
Andthird, the lecture brings up a question about the economic concern given in thepassage. From one side, removing dead trees requires large equipment such ashelicopters or lifts, machines that are expensive and associate with costly maintenance. On the other hand, the job created by salvage logging is often temporary anddoesn’t guarantee the employment from local residents. It is may be stuffed byoutsiders with more experience and proper training.
