Passage1:Speed1-2
(Regarding to the heat retail battle of e-commerce retail battle on the Single Day in China, the same situation occurs in every market~~)
Main idea:
Holiday retail battle with fierce discount at retail price is not quite healthy. And the author recommend some healthier way for the managers to entice consumers, and he lists 7 characteristics of a smart promotions.


Passage1:Speed3-4
(At last, a passage gives us a great example to our students studying in economics that economy has a pragmatic use in the business world.)
Main Idea:
Even though we are now suffering a dreadful economics, some world's top mircroeconomists are giving guidence to the big technology firms, such as Google, Microsoft and eBay on how to make business decisions in the macroeconomics market work.


Passage3:Speed5
(The issue concerning in this program is the topic of paper in my world economy, so the M&A of Chinese enterprise across the border is very familar with me.)
Main idea:
The passage explore the reasons of Chinese firms'cross-border deals fall apart. What's more, the author also give some suggestions on how to deal with their investments overseas in order to reduce the cancellation rate of their announced acquisitions.

main idea:the consumption and output of durable goods is more sensitive to economic fluctuations than of non-durable goods.
examples:use several empirical observations to demonstrate durable growth and its interplay with inflation is important in explaining the asset markets
then use a standard one good model to show that as durable consumption is more persistent and more sensitive to inflation.

the model of the macro-economy can be seen as a VAR(1) model of the three expected growth components.

Thanksgiving lots lots discount, bad bad strategy for business, it's like drug, the immediate affect is clear and quick, but it lacks the exquisiteness in it. this tactic is a failure on the manager's part for their inability to come with good ideas. there could be better solutions.

越障单词基本都认识,但是中间那段好绕啊,没看懂。大致就是durable goods demand and durable goods producing company's stock are more sensitive to inflation. 还扯到了债券,因为债券yield和inflation rate相关。最后介绍了VAR1 model。。自己学金融的,但是也没有完全读懂,惭愧啊。
