9.3 综合写作--TPO 8

The reading passage is concentrated on the accuracy of the memoirwrotten by the Chevalier de Seingalt. They claim that, in order to make his life more exciting, many distorted or invented events were added to the memoir. The professor's lecture deals with the same issue. However, she thinks that the Chevalierde Seingalt's memoir is real and accurate which contradicts what the reading states. And in the lecture, she uses three specific points to support her ideas.First, even though the reading passage suggests that the Chevalier was not wealthybecause he borrowed considerable sums of money from a Swiss merchant. The professor argues in the lecture that borrowing money doesn't mean he was poor. The Chevalier sold his assets to have the money which needed on parties and gambling. It spent a long time until he got the mone. So he borrowed money from the merchant. Obviously, the professor's argument disproves it's counterpart in the reading.
Moreover, despite the statement in the reading that it was impossible to remember exact phrases from conversations held many years. The professor contends that it was possilble. Then he supports this point with the fact that during the conversations, the Chevalier wrote everything he could. And he held the notes for a very long time. In other words, he could remebered every conversation accurately.
Finally, the professor asserts that it is ture that the Chevalier's escape from prison, whereas the author of the reading claims that it is more likely that the Chevalier jailers were bribed to free him. The professor proves that this indefersible by pointing other people in the same jail didn't escape even though their friends were more powerful. In addition, after his escape, the government reconstructed the jail.
In conclusion, the professor clearly identifies that the memoir's accuracy has no doubt.

Have you ever been to the Greet Wall in the capital of China, Beijing? Have you ever walked along the West Lake in Hangzhou City and felt the breeze? Have you ever seen the extraordinary scenery of Da Li? If you have never had such experiences, you would never know how much fun traveling and vocation could bring you. (3句排比,来表明自己的观点。Spend money on traveling and vocation.)

Firstly, it is traveling and vocation that can bring us a lot of fun. (尝试用了一下强调句,想强调的是traveling and vocation) (感觉用这个强调句用在这里不是很合适,翻译过来的话就是:就是旅游和假期给了我们很多快乐,但是这明显不符合逻辑~~建议开头不要用强调呢,呵呵~个人意见哈小v你再读读看呢~~Although it will cost us some money, we gain a lot of happiness and interesting experiences on the vocation. On the summer vocation of my freshmen year, I traveled to Beidai He, the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen(这个插入语用得好像不是很对呢~~读起来有点拗口,scenery 换成 place 会不会好点,小v你就得呢?. It was the first time I saw the beautiful sea which is clear, blue and endless. I felt myself so small when walked along the beach. At the night, my friends and I played games, talked jokes, ate seafood at the beach. It was really fun and I will never forget these memories. Traveling gives us an opportunity to meet friendsmeet用得不是很好,建议换成spend time with friend and enhance our friendship as the same time as we have fun.(引用了一下自己的经历) (建议改成这样:It is this trip that provides me an opportunity to spend time with my intimate friends, which exert a positive effect on maintaining our friendship. 呵呵~~个人观点哟~)

Secondly, we can relax, and refresh ourselves by traveling. In modern society, we are always in a situation which has a strong pressureheavy. We shouldneed to find an effective way to relax(effective 用在工作和学习上,有效率的放松,有点小怪~), had let 这个貌似一个句子里面有三个动词了)our body and mind have a rest. We can easily get away from the troublesome and bad feelings, because we are not at home and being a new place where few people know us. Breathing the cold and fresh air also can help us become calm. After a short time break, we can transfer our stress to energy, which means we can work or study more effectively when we get back to companies or schools.

Last but not least, 前面这里最好加个句子,还是要表面你是支持你自己观点的)there are still some disadvantages of spending money on traveling and vocations. For instance, we could get hurt or have incidents during the journey. According to the newspaper named China Daily, 13 percent of the travelers get hurt during traveling. (引用了一下数据)However, we can be more careful to prevent ourselves from getting injuries. In addition, spending money on traveling and vocations doesnt mean spend all the money on them.

From what has been discussed above, I could safely draw the conclusion that spending money on traveling and vocations is better.

第一次给你改作文呢~~呵呵,有改得不对的地方我们可以一起讨论一起进步哟~~加油

It spent a long time until he got the mone(好像说的是几天, 不是long time). So he borrowed money from the merchant. Obviously, the professor's argument disproves it's counterpart in the reading.

小v的有些点不是很清晰~~句子再多样化一点就更优秀了,加油~

The reading passage explores the issue of seeking a replacement for the automobile's main source of power, the internal-combustion engine. The professor's lecture deals with the same issue. However, she thinks that hydrogen-based fuel-cell engine isn't perfect like the reading states. And in the lecture, she uses three specific points to support her idea.

First, even though the reading passage suggests that hydrogen can be derived from various plentiful sources such as natural gas and water. The professor argues in the lecture that it is true, however, not all forms of hydrogen can be used. Hydrogen is not easily available like the reading passage says. There are many forms of hydrogen, but only pure liquid form is needed. And it is difficult to store or produce liquid hydrogen. So, hydrogen cannot be easily available which contradict to the passage.

Moreover, even though the only by-product of fuel-cell engines is water, it cannot solve the pollution problems. Professor contends that in order to get pure liquid hydrogen, coals and oils are needed. So, even though the cars are not polluted to the air, the burning of coals and oils still pollute the air which makes the environment more polluted.

Finally, the professor asserts that people will not spend less money to operate a fuel-cell engine, because it needs a precious mantle which costs a lot of money. The professor also proves that without that mantle, the engine doesn’t go the chemical reaction and if replace by a cheap mantle, the engine doesn’t work.

In conclusion, the professor clearly identifies there is still some difficulties to replace the internal-combustion engine with the hydrogen-based fuel-cell engine.

Agree or disagree: an efficient leader will always try to make everyone feel that he’s in part of a decision making.

There is a general discussion nowadays on whether an efficient leader should always try to make everyone feel that he’s in part of a decision making. Those who object to this opinion argue that it is just a waste of time, because the leader has difficulty to making a decision which everyone agrees on. However, people who support the idea thinks it can not only benefit the companies but also have a positive influence on their employees.

First, the most major advantage of making employees feel they are in part of the decision is that they can feel the respect of their leader. Being respected, they will work in a high spirit, and feel they are not the slaves of their bosses and leaders but the masters of the company. That means they will make their effort to benefit the company and work more effectively to save time. So, I think an efficient leader should try to make everyone in part of a decision.

Moreover, employees will have more passion on finding solutions and provide suggestions to the group if they feel in part of the decision. Some of the employees will get a free ride because they may think the leader doesn’t care about their suggestions or solutions. They simply get a free ride instead of working hard. According to the latest study in Jilin University, employees who feel in part of the decision always do a better job than the others. If the employees come up better solutions or suggestions to the projects, the procedure will be shortened.

Last but not least, an efficient leader doesn’t only mean a person who always chases the money, an efficient leader is a person to lead their coworkers to make their work time more comfortable and more happy.

In conclusion, I totally agree with the idea which an efficient leader will always try to make everyone feels that he’s in part of a decision.
