Official Expenses for International Students The expenses listed below are for a 12-month period. The tuition, incidental and ancillary, and UHIP fees are annual fees and are due before registering in the first term each year. However, students may pay a minimum of 65% of the tuition, incidental and ancillary fees in the first term and the remaining 35% before beginning the second term. There will be a service charge levied on the outstanding 35% balance until it is paid in full. Enrollment in the University Health Insurance Plan (UHIP) is mandatory for international students registered at the University of Toronto and the total fee is due before registering for the first academic term.
