K之前的educational historians很少关心women and girls，而Woody是个例外（言下之意，Woody在1929年就开始关心了）。这题难的地方在于：区分Woody的研究的独特点 VS 研究发现的独特点。

研究发现的独特点：在revolution之前就有人提倡women education了（与大多数historians想法相反）。
