7月27日Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? People should know the events happening around the world, even if it unlikely has some influence on your daily life.
In recent years, there is public controversy that whether it is a need for people to acquire something irrelevant to their daily life. Those who criticize the notion argue that knowing everything will exhaust more precious time. However, other people are in favor of it. Contrary to the opinion of the former people is my heartfelt agreement with the idea that people should know the events, which has less influence on their daily life.
To start with, sharing the feelings about the current affairs may provide an opportunity for us to communicate with our friends and colleagues. There is no denying that the pace of our modern life so fast that we felt lonely and overwhelmed at such advancing rhythm. So, talking about the issue, even which has nothing to do with our daily life, will alleviate our pressure and makes us more energetic for another challenge. It provides a typical example of my own. I always talk about foreign politics which my father. Although it influences less on my life, I deem it's a excellent topic between us when we have nothing to talk about. Therefore, on no account can we ignore the value of the irrelated cases.
In addition, obtaining knowledge is a long process of accumulation. What we have learn may not be used immediately. So, we should prepare different kinds of ken for tomorrow' utilizing. Learning the events happening around the world also can broaden our view, which may correct our previous opinions of what is the norm in our society. For example, studying the manner of western-style food can help me better understand the culture of America life, and I can apply it when I go abroad. Therefore, we cannot emphasis the importance of uninfluenced matters too much.
When people deem it is favorable to be informed with outside world, isn't it necessary that they should give some consideration to the disadvantages it cause. Admittedly, learning about too many items will cost us numerous time, which may be used to more critical things, for instance, researches and traveling. Even worse, there irrelated issues will distract our attention from studying.
Considerable though the negative points that casting eyes on a wider range results in are, they cannot compete with the benefits that paying attention to the whole world brings about, when communication and knowledgeable brains are taken into consideration. |
