Do children should(Should children) do the similar jobs like their parents? Is it beneficial for children to choose those jobs? Can those job help children to achieve success? (If the children do take such jobs, will they have a better chance of success?)My answer is no! (I feel skeptical about such possibilities of making achievements on our career path.)

First and foremost, we can not deny that doing the resembling job
make children’s career easier at the beginning and promotion faster (make children start easier at the beginning and get promotion faster). However, it is myopic(short-sighted). Only doing the interesting job(父母的job就不interesting?),(不能有逗号) can we have the(a) bright future, or(Otherwise) it will bring endless excruciation and torment(高端词~). I’ll take my brother Jim as an example. Jim is(was) born in a family of doctors. And when he was a child, my uncle and aunt always educated him to be a doctor like them. On the countryside, Jim was interested in Mathematics, and thought to be a doctor(being a doctor) is boring. After the college entrance examination, he was forced to choose the medicine as his discipline(major). After he graduated from university, he became a doctor. It was easy for him to find a job for the influence of his parents. However, he suffered a lot of torment both mentally and physically, as he did not like this job. As far as I am concerned, there is more possibility for people to success when they do their interested things(do the jobs that they are interested in). And there is no doubt that Jim would be more success(successful) if he choose math(math不是job, mathematician?) as his job at the beginning.

Furthermore, a recent survey, conducted by Sina.com, China’s largest portal website, offered a worldwide report about how many people
success(suceed) through doing his interesting job. The result (greatly) shocked me a lot. Over 69% of the voters claimed that they were success(successful) because of doing their own interesting jobs which brought them passion and propulsion(motivation) (the reason why they make great achievements is that they do what they like with passion and motivation). And only 13% of the voter maintained that doing the similar jobs like parents helped them in their career, and of course it is including(includes)those similar jobs were exactly their interesting jobs(the amount includes those whose interesting jobs are exactly similar jobs with their parents). Accordingly, a bright future is not determined by the contemporary(temporary) power at the beginning, and it needs a continue(continuous) motion(motivation/efforts).

We have to
facing(face) numerous choosing(decision making) in our lifetime, (and) selecting a perfect job is one of that. And from all have mentioned above, we can draw the conclusion that it is good for children to do their own interested jobs(do what interests/ captivates/appeals to them), which can bring us(them) a bright future.

第一个例子很不错,细节丰富。语言上有比较多的小错误。加油噢~~

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? The most importantproblems affecting our society today could be solved within our lifetime.

With the increasing development of our society, there are numerous problem occur in our daily life, such as the crisis of nuclear, the racial discrimination, the shortage of source and so on. As far as I am concerned, there is no possibility for us to solve all of the most important problems within our lifetime. But, I do believe some of them can be settled before us dead. There
are several reasons to explain my view.

First and foremost, some problems like the limitation of sources are hard to be solved. It still has a long way to go. The shortage of water, food is hard to be solved now. Because in this area, scientists are new to the game what means we do not evolved a high efficient method. A recent survey, conducted by Sina.com, China’s largest portal website, offered a worldwide report about how many people in the world are suffering the starving now. The result really shocked me; over 69% of people are bearing the pain of lacking food. What more, there are 5% of people in the world are dying because of the starving. And only 26% of people have enough food. Accordingly, it is little possible for us to solve the problem like this within our lifetime.
On the contrary, there still exist some matters we can solve within our lifetime. The type of the problems of crisis of nuclear or the racial discrimination is totally different from the former issue I have mentioned. What the key to solve these problems is human’s thought, not connecting to the science. Only we should do is to influence the people. Advancing the comprehension among people, countries, and ethnicities is of great importance. Although there still a lot of way to go, I do believe this goal of peace can be achieved within our lifetime.
About all of the factors I have discussed above, we can comparatively draw the conclusion that we can not solve all of the problems affecting our society now, however, we can solve some of them.

With the rapid development of modern society, the ways people dress have varied strikingly. It is against this background that a considerably fierce controversy has arisen as to whether the way a person dresses is a good indication of his/her personality or character. An extraordinarily large number of people maintain the perspective that how a person dresses reflects his or her personality or character. Nevertheless, from my personal point of view, the way a person dresses can not be used as a good indication of his or her personality or character, for how a person dresses can be influenced more by the situation, the mood or an individual’s financial condition, rather than his or her own personality or character.

First and foremost, the way a person dresses may be an adjustment to a specific situation, not a reflection of the individual’s personality. For example, at a wedding ceremony, men are supposed to wear suit to look formal and women wear dresses to show their elegance. These are the some of the wedding customs. If someone is in casual wear, he or she will look weird. But the fact that people wear suit and dresses does not necessarily mean they are all as formal and as rigid on a ceremony as they actually are in everyday life. In the light of this statement, the way a person dresses is not a good indication of his or her personality or character.

Moreover, how people dress may reflect their mood instead of their personalities or characters. For example, my friend Jim once got a bad grade on his final examination and got a few harsh words from his teacher. He was so depressed and sad that when he got home, he had no mood to try on his new clothes and kept wearing the same uniform which was supposed to be washed a few days ago. When I went to comfort him, I saw him in a bad shape. The uniform was dirty and untidy, which made him looked totally different from the happy and optimistic boy he used to be. After a long conversation with me, he finally pulled himself together and became energetic again. A few hours later, after he did a change, he was totally different again. From this example, it is not hard to conclude that the way a person dresses is not a good indication of his or her personality or character, because how a person dresses may be influenced by his or her mood. Just because Jim wears untidily does not mean he is a lazy and pessimistic person. He is probably just in a bad mood.

Last but not least, how a person dresses is more likely to be influenced by his or her financial state rather than his or her personality or character. People can not buy fancy dresses unless they can afford them. We can not come to the conclusion that someone has a bad taste in clothing just because he is not in a proper suit, because he probably just can not afford a suit. By the same token/For the same reason, the fact that a person is well-dressed does not mean that he has fine taste.

Due to the above statements, the way a person dresses cannot be regarded as a good indication of his or her personality or character, just like the old saying goes, do not judge a book by its cover. The way a person dresses can be affected by the situation, the mood or his/her financial state.
