what's the earliest time for GSB to extend their decision to applicants? do we have to wait until the posted deadline? just can't sit tight and wait endlessly. : (
yes, as i have said before, applicants from consulting and ib are typical or even mundane applicants, and therefore their best strategy would be apply early to take the relatively fixed number of spots for this category.
it's true that the decision will only be release to you at or after the decision date.
as for the qeustions about the specific number of admits in the 3rd round, well, since i left school for some time, i guess it should be representating some 15-20% of the total admits according to the data from our class and the next class after us.
我现在Big four的Ernst&Young做auditor,刚工作才半年,主要做一些Banking (such as ICBC) and Fund 是用working experience? high GMAT and TOFEL score?
do you guys have close contacts with part-time MBAs?
do you think the application for PT MBA is easier than for FT MBA? I got the reply from PT ADCOM said they have same ad standards. but definitely doubt it, since the acceptance rates have significant discrepancy.
I have a friend from PT program at U C. PT and FT MBA program are totally separated in terms of admission andmanagement. However, ther are identical in terms of curriculum anddegree type(ie, you will never know a guy is from PT or FT). That's why the PT of U. C is the hottest. But certainly, PT is less competitive.
thank you skypacerzhou , you always give us a lot of suggestion. i know i am a small potato, but as the saying goes: it`s never too early to prepare. the most important thing is that i wanna see some hope from your opinion, so that i can see where is my way. if MBA is a mission impposible for by background, i will try to find anther way to realize my tream. if you think there still chances for me, then i will do my endeavor to prepare. so would you mind give me some more detail suggestion?
Thanks for the advices from alum, current students and fellow applicants! I was waitlisted in Round 1. I would like to seek any advices about ways to improve my chance in getting off the waitlist. Since my interview was waived during my application and I didn't do a campus visit before, I would like to request one in Feb. Do you think interviewing and visiting them in Feb is too late before they make a final decision on my file? Do you know how many waitlisted applicants were eventually admitted in the past years? What should I mention in the additional information they request me to submit? Thanks in advance!
