再求助一道GWD语法题。。。觉得这题有错误不知道对不对额。。

答案选D 但是that不是不能跳跃修饰吗 要是这样的话 that就是修饰前面的account啊

我选的是B 不过从语义上来判断确实应该选D。。

d是正确的，从语义上看说的more than 2,000 letters and documents on wooden tablets 所形成的a historical account 像是从Pompeii 采集来的a historical account 一样生动。

之所以这样认为，不是将more than 2,000 letters and documents 进行比较，除了从语义上理解比较合适以外，倒数第二个that正满足了楼主心中“that就近修饰比较好”，就近修饰a historical account ，最后一个that当然是代词，指代a historical account 。

（弱弱补充一下，语法不存在that不紧跟修饰词就一定错，不能作为对错的判断标准，只是相对的讲近一点总比远一点让人好理解，望采纳~）
