【请问：一道有悖OG常规的题目！】

这道题比较特殊。如果分号后面的they不能跳过分号指代Italian vintners，那分号后面的their同理也不能跳过。那么，分号后面的their里面的“他们”是指谁呢？

'their' 'they' should refer to the same subject, else it doesnt make sense.

GMAT的原则没有改变
EllipsisAuxiliaries can appear alone where a main verb has been omitted, but is understood:

"I will go, but she will not."

The verb do can act as a pro-VP (or occasionally a pro-verb) to avoid repetition:

"John never sings in the kitchen, but Mary does."
"John never sings in the kitchen, but Mary does in the shower."

从WIKI上的例句可以看出，就算两个分句的主语不为同一个，也可以省略谓语动词
另外，这道题也可以这么理解，在语言逻辑概念上看,wine是price这个动作的接收者，to sell是这个动作的目的，they是price这个动作的发出者，后半句用动作发出者they做主语是无可厚非的，以表示他们达到了sell的这个目的
their wines are priced to sell, and they do.
可以改成
they price their wines to sell, and they do.
