There is no direct apple-to-apple comparison. But from what I've seen, Top US undergraduates (yes, undergrads) are more acceptable than French GEs in Asia. FYI, many sales & trading desks in Asia (especially the more exotic ones) are occupied and run by French, if you can show HR how competitive u r, i don't see any roadblock there.

In order to be competitive and to figure a way out,I guess, I need A platform, from which came the a-a comparison .
Just now, one said "schools like GE only accept students from 211 or985 in china". I really dismayed by what I had been told.   Too many things have a least standard.
郁闷的吐下槽 ，可忽略.
现在脑子就是 totally a mess,有好多疑问特模糊 （特低级）等我缕一缕 还望大神解惑

No, some of my classmates (quite many actually) ARE NOT from 211/985 and they are doing very well, a few of them performed even better than PKU/Tsinghua graduates.
