请问楼主对三大高商的MBA项目及在金融，咨询圈的认可，就业情况是否了解，本人已拿到ESSEC的global MBA的offer，正在等HEC的面试，但ESSEC交deposit时间快到了，急于决定，请LZ及对三大高商MBA情况了解的大神不吝赐教

我想报HEC的MSc in International Business  CEMS方向 可以帮忙分析下是否适合？

背景： 本科美国TOP 20统计学 然后在中东工作 两年BIG 4 一年CORPORATE FINANCE
虽然听说欧洲工作难找税高薪水低，也没有法语基础，但还是很想去感受一下老牌殖民国家的魅力（在Middle east and North Africa，会法语是多么POSH的事！）

我看了一下HEC的PLACEMENT，大多都是consulting firm。我觉得如果能在法国实习，然后回香港或新加坡的consulting firm或法资PE工作也很好。我不想读MBA是觉得欧洲国家的MBA性价比没有美国高，资源也少，不知道楼主同意吗？ 对法国学校知之甚少，如果能推荐一下你觉得适合的项目就非常感谢^_*

小弟对mba项目不太了解，但是可以确定的一点是 escp没有开设mba项目

ESSEC's global MBA is new and i don't think they have good placement in consulting area. I have no clue on HEC, but it should be better than essec. Parisien three have good if not great brandname in France but consulting works in France need very high level of french. Outside France, i would say the only French school people heard of is Insead, HEC comes second.

If the only reason you wanna go to France for graduate school is learning French to be POSH, I would suggest you hold off, take a second to think twice.  Alliance Francaise would give you way higher reward/risk ratio

For grande ecole program, most of CHinese (90% or more) DO NOT do consulting, due to language barrier.  Even internship in Paris strategy consulting firm is hard to get. Some management consulting firms like Accenture/ Capgenimi occasionally hire Chinese and getting a job in their Chinese offices is easy, but really, think it again.

posh是开玩笑的，意思是法国在很多地区影响力很大，文化方面是我选择法国的一个重要原因。 另外会法语和法国背景不是一件事，否则各家公司找法语系的就好了呀。 我遇到几个读INSEAD/ESSEC的朋友，都不会法语，但是在法国以外（非中国）的法资PE/银行很容易地找到工作。

我没有考虑GE，只是正好看到HEC的Msc，觉得这个program看起来很实际，时间和金钱的投入都较少，学校的名声也不错。consulting的出路这么差吗，都被鄙视的只能去Accenture/ Capgenimi了，那不会法语的应该选什么方向好？

多谢LZ的回答，本人有金融业的工作经验，如果找corporate finance 或IB 类的工作情况是怎样的呢？因为看到说ESSEC，或者说三大高商在corporate finance ， M&A 领域比较历害，global MBA在这些领域就业有没有问题呢？

Hi Derman 谢谢你开了这个贴让我了解了不少
今年三月开始申请 选择只剩下EDHEC 也顺利拿到了OFFER
看完之前的帖子 相比较 三大高商总体还是优胜剩下两所高商
对于我这种已经确认读EDHEC金融的学生 可以给一些建议吗？ 怎样规划准备好自己 弥补劣势 让自己可以与三大高商的学生一起在就业市场上竞争。

Don't know what kind of financial industry experience do you have. really hard to give you further info. In the eyes of recruiters, working in a small street branch of local commercial bank is different from working in Goldman Sachs IBD, even they are both considered as "financial industry".

Three Parisiens can give you ticket for the races, no one can ensure you can qualified for the second round. So many factors weigh in, how good is your english, what's your prior experience, what relationship do you have, where did you go to college, how good you answer those tech questions......Don't simply put recruiting as a game of school name. (if it is, then Cambridge/Oxford/LSE /Ivy leagues will dominate the game)

Get jobs in French P/E very easily? If it's the case, and you believe what you've seen, then go for it, no doubt.

Accenture/Capgemini is not bad, don't get me wrong, i just said it's hard to get into "strategy consulting" given the language barrier out there. But if you are really convicted for it, no one can pull you back.

Generally, finance is better for non-french speaker than consulting.
