经常看到有人说GMAT高分可以证明学习能力，弥补GPA的缺陷。四年的持续表现就可以用一个考试来证明？这不是搞笑吗。而且录取办公室的人也不是傻子，间接直接的都暗示过亚洲人的机井。。。

Both the GPA and the Gmat are equally as important. The Gmat proves the ability to handle graduate level works, while GPA prove your ability to handle work in an effective way. either one missing will reduce the chances of acceptance. I would assume LZ has high GPA with a mediocre Gmat, this is controversial topic. No one should be bias. Best luck.

录取办公室的人同样清楚中国不同大学甚至同样大学不同专业间的GPA几乎没有可比性。GMAT虽然存在这样那样的缺陷，但是却是一个全球统一的考试。而且GPA这个东西美国人也一样不傻知道国内有些人都在如何操作。这个话题永远争论不休。最终结果取决于整体package。工作时间越长，经历越丰富出彩，GPA越淡化这几乎对每个学校的录取委员会都适用。

Don't make assumptions. On the contrary, I have aweful GPA but awesome GMAT. I just cannot understand while people like cheating themselves... GMAT is good indicator if you don't have "Ji　Jing".. But for most Asians, this rule does not apply...

绝对的同意，中国有些学校的GPA水分不是一般的大呀！

你可以说高分GMAT有水分， 但是低分GMAT确实证明有欠缺。

所以说GMAT还是可以帮助把把关的。

GPA连续四年都很好当然重要， 但是也取决你所在的本科学校的档次吧。
