按照我的理解：
根据文章内容，如果researchers没发现这两个濒临绝种的食肉种类动物是free of (tatal absence of breakages) breakage 的 这些 researchers 将得出什么结论？
我只知道A为什么对，回原文定位，15行, 原文说 这种破不是因为 pits 的内部造成的，如果科学家们没有认识到这一点，那么就会以为是因为 pits的内部造成的（remains in the pits）。其他的选项与文章定位处貌似没什么关系。这是第二个被否定掉的 explaination .
我也是才开始奋战，不是很清楚。
