I BEAT THE ODDS AND GOT ADMITTED BY SCHULICH

Hello, Schulich folks, I just got the last ticket to get on board. My shitty GMAT score couldn't stop me at all ...

Hi, there. Due to the wrong information I got from the others, I didn't apply for Schulich until I visited the school on April 28. The information I got there is so positive that I decided to try my utmost to get into the program. I started my application right on May 1, the official deadline of domestic application.

By that time, I only finished GMAT and but got a pretty bad score which really embarasses me when compared with the Chinese applicants'. In the next couple of weeks, I wrote my essays, contacted my pervious bosses and did my TOEFL on May 27. The result was fruitful to my efforts.

My application was completed on June 22 with my second reference letter received. I contacted the school several times and got very positive reponses. The interview was conducted on July 7 and I got the offer on the next day.

Above is the whole process. If I could be furture help, please let me know.

Hi, there. I don't know why, just feel that your question sounds weird. Anyway, it is for fall 2004, of course. In a couple of weeks, I will most likely be back to campus.

My interview went very well. It last for 50 minutes. The questions covered nearly all aspects, especially those areas where I am not good at, namely my rather low GMAT score. But I overcame the obstacles. I think I did win the rapport from the interviewer, although I realized that a few words I used  were not perfect in that situation. Everything was under control. I had a very good time there.

I felt that I would get the offer. But I could never imgine I got it on the next day.
